SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 1, 2002--Incentia Design Systems, Inc., an EDA company in the timing and synthesis market, reported today that 2001 was a successful year for the new company. Twelve customers achieved more than 30 tapeouts with the Company's timing and synthesis tools -- TimeCraft(TM) and DesignCraft(TM).
"Our goal is to provide a complete physically validated timing and synthesis solution," noted Arthur Wei, director of Product Marketing at Incentia. "Last year we announced the company, our first products DesignCraft and TimeCraft and our library partner program. Since then we have had tremendous acceptance of our integrated timing and logic synthesis tools. This year we plan to introduce a physical synthesis product that complements our existing tools, sign up more ASIC and library partners and provide more advanced options for our synthesis tools."
Incentia's customers in the United States and Asia are designing products for the communications, wireless, chip-set, consumer electronics and multi-media markets. In 2001, Incentia expanded its global presence by signing Marubeni Solution Corp. and Davan Tech Co., Ltd. as distributors in Japan and Korea, respectively.
About Incentia's Products
TimeCraft is the fastest full-chip timing analyzer available today. It offers rich features and accurate timing analysis results. TimeCraft identifies critical paths and timing problems for multi-million-gate designs up to 15x faster than existing tools.
DesignCraft is a complete timing and synthesis solution. It incorporates the TimeCraft timing engine for fast and accurate timing analysis, and performs logic, datapath, test and low-power synthesis within the same environment. It accepts design blocks three to five times bigger than other logic synthesis tools, offers up to a 10x runtime improvement over other logic synthesis tools and can result in a 20% die size reduction.
Incentia Design Systems, Inc., an EDA company, addresses deep sub micron timing and synthesis for multi-million-gate DSM SoC designs with stringent performance, area and power requirements. For more information visit www.incentia.com, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 408/727-8988.
